Kaohsiung, Taiwan — July 2026 — JOY Group announced the successful dispatch of its first 20-foot container of cigarette products to the Republic of Kiribati, marking the Group’s formal entry into the Pacific island tobacco market.



This shipment represents an important milestone in JOY Group’s regional expansion strategy and demonstrates the Group’s growing capabilities in international trade, cross-border logistics, customs coordination, and market development across Asia and the Pacific.
Through its established sourcing and logistics network, JOY Group aims to provide reliable product supply and efficient shipping solutions to qualified importers and distributors in Pacific island countries.
All shipments are conducted subject to applicable export controls, import licensing requirements, customs regulations, tobacco taxation rules, health-warning requirements, and local laws in the destination market.
Following the successful launch in Kiribati, JOY Group plans to further explore commercial opportunities in other Pacific island markets while developing long-term cooperation with licensed local importers, wholesalers, and distribution partners.
